Our residents are from all walks of life, and have included people of great repute locally and nationally. They include Mayors, (local as well as from other parts of the country) Councillors, Historians, Educationalists, retired Nurses, and even famous prisoners of the second world war, who served time in Japanese prisoner-of- war camps.
