Dietary
Needs
- are part of our care plan; special individual diets
can be provided as required. Medical, religious and
other dietary needs on grounds of conscience are all
respected.

Medical
Needs - are attended to by two local surgeries
which have around 10 doctors. We are privileged with
an adequate nursing compliment from District Nurse centre
within minutes distance from the Home. These arrangements
are under the National Health Service. Private treatment
can be arranged on request. All medical care is available
24 hours.
Social Events - Include each resident’s
birthday party, celebrations of all festivals in the
national and religious calendar, visits from the clergy
(all denominations) as well as visiting philanthropists
like Gideon’s etc. We arrange visits by entertainers,
musicians and roving performers of plays – which
are always popular events. Outings are arranged on request
by individuals, couples or groups. We encourage our
service users to interact with the local community and
schools. Extra therapies can be arranged on cost basis
if required.

“Senior
Resident Day” of a person living 10 years in YTL
(and there have been quite a few – though their
life expectancy was presumed less at admission) can
be as big an event as the service users and their relatives
prefer.
Accommodation
- We constantly review and develop the amenities we
offer. At present we have 16 single and 7 shared rooms.
Shared accommodation is ideal for couples or for those
who prefer company. Two separate flats are available
for fully independent peoples.
